how do i install a switch to lockup my convertor in 2 nd gear as i sometimes tow up steep grades from a dead stop folowing other slow vehicals and need to get lockup to control heat in trany .

also i thought i saw someware you could just tap into the tps wire near the tps to do it ?

From my experience lockup in 2nd gear exclusivley is impossible without some valve body work, as it is a hydraulic restriction when the lever is in "2". It will lockup from a standstill, on a take-off, through 2nd gear with the switch, only in "drive" though.
