In the process of diagnosing the hard start on my '96, the temp sender was broken. The connector pulled apart, but seemed to slide back together just fine. I couldn't find it oem, so got one off ebay. Now the gauge isn't working. Any ideas on where to get an oem sender, and the connector? Or should I just install a mechanical gauge? Is there any reason not to install a mechanical gauge? BTW, the hard start was from the sender in the fuel tank.

 

Ask Oliver Foster here on the sight, he has a lot of 1st gen. parts.

 

96 would be second gen but he has alot of those parts as well and is a great guy to deal with

Fuel sender or a temp sender and wire, just let me know. I am sure I can come up with some options.
