Borrow a DV install socket?

Who can loan me the socket to install my delivery valves? I know you can buy them for about $30, but this is a one time install and then I will have a socket that I no longer need!

Also, do I need to replace anything else when I change the valves? I thought I read one time there are metal washers (like brake hose sealing washers) within the delivery valve "housings" that may need to be changed.

I can provide you with a FEDEX account number for shipping and tracking and I can send the socket right back to you within a couple of days of reciept!

I am located in Central AL.

Thanks,

Ronnie

Why not go to a Cummins shop and ask a tech if he'll lend/rent you one?

Some pumps have the delivery valve washers, some don't. Just buy some, they're cheap, and return them if you don't need them. Although you'll probably use more fuel drivng back to the shop than you paid for the washers.

u'll want to get a set of the little o-rings also, because some of the old ones may rip or somthing or already be damaged, and there really cheap security for no leaks.
