Added #5 torque plate, now leaks oil

Just added a #5 torque plate on my dads 1996 12V. It has 90k miles on the motor. Never leaked a drip of oil until the fuel plate was installed.

any ideas?

Where is it leaking from? If not the injection pump, then I would say it is coincidental.
How is it running with the #5 plate, by the way?

Loose AFC bolts.

or the AFC cover o-ring is misaligned.

Checked it out, the cover was kinked a little bit. All fixed! Thanks. The #5 torque plate is good. We have it slid clear forward. Will do well with the 4" exhaust while towing 14k lbs.
