99 NV4500 direct bolt into 97?

I'm almost positive it will, but just making sure before I do anything. They are both 2500 4x4.

I put a 94 into my 98. Difference was that the 94 has a speed sensor in the tailshaft housing, and the 98 has the newer (better) top cover. Everything else fit up as it should. Keep in mind, this was all on a 2wd.

put a 96 motor in my 03 with nv4500 it bolted up fine to the tranny few mods for the truck tho
