97 NV4500 Noises or???

97 NV4500 Noises or???

When in third gear and decelerating i get a weird grinding or something rubbing wrong sound

and when i accelerate it rattles in 3rd and 4th

have no idea what this is or how to fix it any ideas would be great

What rattles? I had my 4wd shifter wear through the bushing and any little vibration would make the shifter sound like the tranny was gonna grenade.
