2 low kits, and a T-case question

I was wondering if there is anyone else making the 2-low kits? I know Posilock, and Pac brake, but really looking for more people who offer the Posilock style.

And a T-case question, does the T-case really need vacuum to engage 4 wheel drive?? I am not crazy about vacuum lines running down there.
So if one were to install the Posi-lock kit, would you still need the vacuum lines running to the T-case?

should not need it the 4x4 light switch is on the cad motor and the posi lock should have a spot for the switch I made my own 2 low with an air switch hooked to the vac. line going down to the t case at the fire wall

ok, well reason I ask is I am looking at a truck that the 4wheel doesnt work in so just doing a bit of research. The Posi-lock kit is awesome, and I want one for sure, but 200 bucks for a steel cable and some odds n ends is a bit much though. But well worth it for sure. There must be a way to do a DIY CAD disconnect with a cable.

The T-case does not use vacuum to engage, the front axle does.

For the CAD, look on Ebay under Jeep YJ's- the axle works the same as on the Dodge truck, and someone on there sold plans to make your own CAD for the Dana 30. I would imagine you could adapt that for the 60. On the Quadratec Jeep forum, I read from more than one guy who made is own CAD, and it worked great.
You can also get a Permalock, which is a fork and block off plate, which keeps the axle shaft locked all the time. The new trucks don't have CAD- both shafts turn all the time.

Hmm, thats a good idea, I will have to look into that. I saw the Permalock kit, I wouldnt like it do to the fact I have a need to back trailers, and we all know how reverse is in a manual tranny Dodge, hehehe then take my 19.5's and stab on there, and that makes it worse!
