1} How many quarts does the Dana axle in the front on a 95' 4X4 take?and what weight oil?<br><br>2} Has anyone taken the 2 linkages off the side of the Auto tranny for any reason? i need to replace a seal under them that is leaking, i couldn't get them seperated after i unhook all parts...or can someone direct me to a diagram of that section, THANKS Greg

 

Okay, here is your answer avout the front axle.<br><br>If you have a dana 44 you fill it to approx 1/2 inch below the bottom of the fill plug.<br><br>If you have a Dana 60,70 or 80, fill it to approx 5/8 inch from the bottom of the fill plug.<br><br>Use 80w-90 gear lube. This all per the factory service manual. I can't remember exactly how many qts it is, but I think it was about 2 1/2 qts. Last time I changed mine.<br><br>Can't help you with the tranny question.<br><br>Gary
