1995 Alternator
I have a 95 cummins coming in for a project , I would think the alt has a built in regulator , could some give me a run thru on what each wire is for .
Thanks

The voltage regulator is in the PCM. The PCM senses system voltage and controls the alternator output.
You can add an external VR. if needed.
The alt. output B+ wire is the thick wire on the large terminal on rear of alt. The 2 small terminals are the field wires. The bottom is positive and the top is field driver.
