12v drivetrain problems

i just recently bought a 93 12v. when you turn to sharp it feels like its in 4wheel. the transfer case says 2H. and it feels like the u-joints in the rear may be going out. i dont know if its the axles or the transfer case causing it to make a sort of popping feeling. need some help. thanks

Is the transfer case stuck in 4wd or is the front axle not engaging? If the 4wd light works, if the light is on, then it is the collar on the front axle not disengaging. It is not common for a transfer case to get stuck in 4wd.

the light does work, but when driving the censor must be rubbing because the light goes on and off. and when you move the shifter from gear to gear its tough to move it.
