12 Valve Value and Availability
keep looking. It took me over a year to find mine. I looked on auto trader all the time, but ended up finding mine about 40 miles from me for 10k with 123,000 on it and no rust. The body can rust off the truck for all I care im never gettin rid of it.
Hehe, yeah, I bought my '98 CC Short bed 5 speed about 18 months ago and had looked for about a year as well. When I smashed a deer 2 weeks ago I had to take it in for an estimate which was almost $5k and it didn't even bend any sheet metal. I told the body shop guy that I was going to take a cash settlement and he asked me if I was going to "retire the ol' girl." I said no effin' way!
I'm driving this thing until I can't keep warm or dry anymore. And from the looks of the sheet metal other than the rockers (which I will fix this winter) it'll be a loong time before I rust any holes in it.
I'm so glad I found this thing.
