I have an 04.5 with the NV5600 and sometimes (about 60-70% of the time) when I take it out of gear or press the clutch in for longer than 2 or 3 seconds, the engine will drop below idle then speed up above idle and then drop back down to normal idle speed and finally stay there. Sometimes it will just surge like this once and other times it will do it 3 or 4 times. Anybody experience this? Any ideas? It's getting kind of annoying.

 

my 05 does the same thing. it semms random on mine also, cant find a pattern with it

 

I just bought the truck about a month ago and it was doing this when i bought it. I took it to the dealer to have it reflashed for poor MPGs and white smoke at start-up and the problem still exists. Mileage is much better though.

 

i havent had any problems with mine. havent been to the dealer once, and i just broke 134k.

 

Mine has done it since new. It's all good dude. jay
