Obvious to me that you need to alter the curriculum for the class to include a "field trip" this weekend

Thanks, John.

Lary, not a bad idea.

Since I've been back on the right coast, I've been saying I need to get back into the diesel world, I was out pretty much the whole time I was in Yuma. I worked on three or four trucks and did next to nothing on mine. Life is just getting in the way...

You might even include detailing your vehicles as required curriculum while you are at it Mark.....even if you can't make it

Hey guys, Larry got me up to speed on this a few days ago. I thought I was going to get the weekend off but the rain has pushed back to Sunday here in Atlanta so we're working Saturday. I was really hoping to get there, especially since Atlanta made me 160 miles closer. Y'all have fun and make John let his hair down a little (after he gets through the road blocks). LOL

Rick:

Sorry to hear you won't be able to make it buddy! I was hoping for the old DTR Crew to get together again! But, as I told Mark, I certainly understand about work. Heck, I have been teaching myself up to today.

Anyway Rick,....thanks for the reply. Lary, Peggy, Johnner and me will miss seeing you guys.

Going to miss you Rick but this gives John and I a better chance of avoiding the lock up this year

We will do it again another time, paying the bills is the first priority unless you have recently decided to switch parties and vote Democrat

Not to worry Lary, the nights still young. I could anonymously call a couple of the local agencies and give them a tip.

Well,...it was Lary, Peggy, and Johnner at this event and we all had a great time!

Johnner started the drag racing driving the "redramrocket" and WON the first round by running a 7.79 in the 7.70 Class. BUT,.....he had to leave early to take his Wife out for her birthday. So, that left his dear old Dad to try and finish going another two rounds. Unfortunately, I RED LIGHTED in the first one and was done for the day. It was still good to get out and run the old 96' again.

Those of you that haven't seen Lary in awhile I have to report that he looks GREAT! He and Peggy have both lost alot of weight and since Lary's new hip replacement he is walking better than I have EVER seen him walk!

Lary,...I am so happy for you buddy!! I can't imagine how much better you feel without having that constant pain buddy! Heck, you won't need your cane much longer! Our sincere thanks to you and Peggy for coming down for this event. It was great to be see and be with you and Peggy again and we look forward to the day when Peggy finally retires and we can get together even more!

--------
John

Jess:

It was great to see you and Buck too! Sorry you guys had problems with the drag truck but it seemed like alot of the Pro-Street Trucks had the same issues.

Glad you guys had fun. Sorry I posted the invite and then backed out, just couldn't swing it. It wasn't all bad, I got my stuff done for work fairly quickly, then smoked some ribs.

Sorry you took a red light, John... it happens to the best of us!

Thanks Mark!

Yeah, on that red light I was 7/1000ths of a second of being IN THE GREEN though!! On an amateur tree I usually leave on the third yellow but this time I was just a LITTLE too soon!! If Johnner had been able to stay there is no doubt we would have gotten into the money. I still remember when he won the "Handshaker Class" at Atlanta Dragway and actually cut a PERFECT .0000 light that day. I will never forget that as I have NEVER been able to do that.
