I had a great time out there w/ everyone and we need to do something like this again. John P. let me try the smarty beta to run with my tst and I got my truck into the 12's. I see a smarty in my future.

Well as usual, I had a great time yesterday! For those of you that did not make it, you missed a great time. We had five (5) Dodge Diesel Pickups attend and one Ford 7.3 PSD.

I want to thank Pete Slayden (2141pete) for setting this event up! Pete, sorry about that tranny leak you had, but also thanks for drag racing me.
For those of you that were not there, I won, but not by much! Pete went 13.3@ 103 and I went 13.2@105. Very close indeed........................

The real "highlight"of the day though was when we put my Smarty "Beta" Programmer into Dan's (zuki_dan) truck. Dan is running the "TST PM 3 CR"
Module with R-49 and has a "Bullydog" Crazy Lary "stacked" on top of the TST. I told Dan that based on what I have seen the past year that he could get his truck into the 12's with my Smarty Beta "stacked" on top of the TST.
He made a few runs BEFORE doing this and COULD NOT get below 13.0.
Well, after the install of the Smarty Beta, Dan went out on the track and went 12.88@104 MPH versus 13.0@103MPH with the Bullydog Crazy Lary!!
The Smarty cut off 2/10ths on his time and added one (1) MPH on the trap speed!! Also, Dan and I ran our trucks "heads-up" and he beat me once and I beat him once! We came to the agreement that "whoever gets the holeshot is going win" when we race our trucks!!

My thanks to all who attended the event and to the new faces that we met there!
