More info on costs....
Just some additional info on costs.
Mike is again providing a discount on the dyno runs for this event with a cost of $40. This is on a in-floor DynoJet rated for 1500 hp and 1500 tq. Mike has lots of experience running diesel pickups of all makes on his dyno.
Hook fees for the truck pull will be $10.

You forgot to mention the Land & Sea Engine dyno. Mike will have a special engine to run.
Sled pulling will be a fun day.
Mean Green is an easy starting and soft stopping sled. A Cummins B is the power plant, too.
I hope you can make it there for one or both days.

SWEET!! I'll be there for 1 day at least, hopefully both. I might finally get a chance to see what I can do on the rollers with this thing... then again maybe I'll like the number in my head right now instead of on paper
Is this a Dodge-only event? I've got a couple of Duramax buddies and a 6. oh-no friend that might like to drag the sled. One of the Duramaxes is pretty hot, I'm sure he'll want to know what he's puttin' down.

Just found this on another site. Looks like a good deal if anyone needs lodging.

Just got this news.
Chassis Dyno action will kick off around 9:00 AM on Saturday morning.
$40 for a hook up and the 2-3 runs it takes to get horsepower and torque numbers. If you want to make changes (fast changes) it will be another $25 per run.
Sunday has a few changes. Pulling is scheduled to start until around 1:00 PM to allow enough time to get the grounds set up. Mike is wanting to get $10 a head for the pulling to help with growing expenses. If you want to pull your truck, the $10 also pays your first run on the track.
A local concession wagon will be on site all weekend.
The gravel lot is wide open for camping Friday & Saturday evenings.
The bushes I said are few happen to be current as in power. If we don't get a lot of rain it should be relatively dry. We didn't get the dumping of snow that hit Bemidji & Duluth.
I plan to be there around 6:00 PM on Friday.

If you're planning to dyno on Saturday or pull on Sunday could you give me a shout back?
Typically, we dyno in the order you sign up. Same will go for the truck pulls. We will try to accommodate everyone.
Anyone have feedback for categories on ranking trucks for dyno & pulling?
stock?
nearly stock?
improved stock?
I'm lying if I say stock?
I must have something stock?
chemically enhanced?

So how was the event? Anyone get pictures/videos?
My house is right off hw 94 and Sunday evening I was walking the trashcans down to the end of the road. I looked up at the freeway and seen 4-5 Cummins ripping down the highway. It made me sortive mad, I wanted to go. lol. Im pretty sure that they were on their way home from the event.
I think I seen one of the trucks out at the Elk River event, it was a Green 2nd gen longbox I think w/ a set of stacks.
