Flatbeds with stack(s)

Does anyone here have any pictures of their trucks with flatbeds and stacks?I ordered two 4" 90's, some stainless flex pipe, band clamps and a 4-5" adapter, along with a 5" 48" chrome turnout stack. I have a missing kitty and a 51" donaldson muffler on it now. Im hoping the interior noise will be like it is now?? anyone run a single turnout stack with a donaldson muffler? is there any resonation at all?.

I have seen a picture of a cummins powered 05 f-450 on youtube with a single 5" stack with a flatbed similar to mine, i think it looks sweet. I was hoping somone else on here might have some input or a similar setup.

My 01 450 has a stack and muffler, do you want pic's of how I mounted the piping or just how it looks from a distance?

Pipe's low enuff that I can still run it through the car wash,...if you want to hear what It sound's like click on the vid in my signature.

I think I got pics of the headache mount,...Its just a piece of angle, mudflap, and bandstyle exhaust clamp.

i am looking for pics of mounting and pics from a distance....just ideas for when my stuff gets here.....im planning on mounting near the passenger edge of the bed. Im hoping to run 4" over the top of the frame and have nothing but the stack above the bed. i have been trying to figure out how to mount the stack to the headache rack. I may do something similar to what you describe. What kind of muffler are you running? DO you get much drone?

thanks

I did this to a friends truck, bed was 2 days old. 5" turbo back and they smoke perfectly even. I made the down pipe and all the way back to the Y and went up over the frame and dropped down and came out the side of the bed so that the bottom of the pipe was even with the bottom of the bed threw a notch in the side of the bed. none of the pipe is lower than the truck. there is right at 30ft of 5" pipe and it sounded better than any truck I have ever heard and with the windows up you had no drone it was almost as quiet as stock in the cab. with the rear doors open there was still 3" of room.

Heres a pic of my 7" bullhauler. I'm running it which no muffler and 5" pipe from the downpipe back. Imo its not much if at all louder than my 5" sidepipe exiting before the right rear wheel.

I think and others have told me as well that my stock straight piped exhuast was louder then the stacks, but didn't sound nearly as good as the stacks do.

Looks like your friends truck had a throw out bearing that went out and wore the fingers off the pressure plate....

My '92 has a single 5" stack. I modified the flatbed the corner to allow a little clearance..etc..it is mounted with a triangle angle iron mount and two clamps..and some bracing..1 clamp allowed it to move around so i just tacked up a two clamp set up ..works good so far.. heres the pics..its pretty quiet in the cab .
this truck had a pickup bed on in with a bed stack and the bed stack was WAY louder..this new setup is nice in the cab etc, out side its still kinda loud..but driving in the cab its good ...

Later,
Deo

Rabbit, if your real name is Deo, that's totally awesome. Did your parents name you after the band.
