air coming out of the ducts
does any one have any problems with not enough air coming out of your ac ducts. can they get plugged up with out a air filter ? has any one got this problem are have it. the drivers side has more air coming out than the passenger side does. is it possible that the fan could be filled up with dirt?

Same here. Haven't taken the dash apart to look for duct hose loose. No other blocking issues seen. Will be watching this thread to see what the response is.

I had that same problem with my 1998 Chevy Silverado.. it was an easy fix... traded it in on a 2010 Dodge Ram... the air now works great!... .... So I was wondering the same,... If there is a filter that may need to be changes at some time to come!.... will watch also for more info.

The 2010 and up didn't come with a filter but it is possible to modify the HVAC plenum and install one but if the airflow is uneven the filter is not the problem. AS you probably know the HVAC is a split system and if running split and different temps selected in auto then airflow will be different side to side.

dropped the fan motor out everything is clean. ran a camera up the ducts and everything is working the way it should be. the evap is clean . Is it possible that the motor is not coming up to speed ? the dampers are all working right.

Try turning the squirrel cage on the motor by hand, it should be free to turn. It's possible for the motor to tighten up as it heats up so you should try this after it's been running awhile. If it's tight change the motor but a bad motor would affect both sides.

installed a new motor and resistor but still not enought air flow coming out of vents. just a little more than what Ive had in the past.

Have you checked to see if there is 12volts going to the motor? A melted connector could reduce the voltage. Most vehicles bypass the resistors when HI fan is selected and I imagine it's the same on your truck. One other thing is to check the ground wire where it makes ground to ensure it's tight. Does the airflow improve when recirc is selected?

The air flow not improving in recirc means that the outside screens are not plugged up. One other thought.. do you see condensation under your truck after you park and the AC has been running? IF not then the plenum could be part full of water allowing only a portion of the evaporator to let air flow through it, if that's the case on humid days you can see the water line on the outside of the plenum under the dash. The evaporator could also be partially freezing up again reducing the airflow.

my evap coil is plugged up to the max. have to take the dash apart to clean it. but all dampers are intacked . there is a sensor on the low side of the suction line ( big line). that will cut the compressor off so it wont frost the suction line and freeze up the coil. not sure if this is all of it but going to clean it and go to the next problem.
