Best to measure the diam of the sway bar as I see variety in sizes. I thought Dodge had packages like camper speacial and HD plow packages etc. that one could order. would think those type of packages or a truck that was a long bed 4wd would be diff than a long bed 2wd to some extent. You could always go to Dodge and they can print off for free based on your VIN# the truck build sheet. you can see if there was a special package added etc.

I believe that this would depend on trucks model year and transmission. Because there are a few different versions of the overload springs. Some have one overload spring and some have multiple springs. Trucks with the auto tranny "may" have a different part number too as they are lighter capacity than the manual tranny trucks. The 2500 trucks with manual trannys are basically the same truck as all 3500 trucks. This only applies to the 2nd gen trucks too. Quizzing the parts guys may give you better answers.

i know a lot of my suspension/front end parts(2500hd) are different from a standard 2500. i know a friend of mine was going to put manual axles in his automatic, same year trucks, both cummins, his an auto and the axles from a manual. he scrapped the idea because shock mounts and sway bar mounts on the axles were different. measure everything. the 2500hd has a beefier suspension and steering
