How old is that Cannonball bed? It looks like a newer style than the one I've got. Just for your info, keep an eye on the rear hinge brackets. We've broken the brackets on both sides of ours over the years. Other than that, it's been a great bed. Handier than heck.

Bought it new in '06 or '07, cant remember. Thanks i'll keep an eye on it. Yea they are handy, I've lifted some fairly heavy stuff with it, supprising what all it will do. Only problems I have with it is one of the bale lifting arms was like 1/4" higher than the other when I got it installed, and the bed is so heavy lol. Nuthin major tho. What year is yours? Any pics???

We got ours in '01 or '02. It's been used pretty hard. None of the plates or arms really lines up anymore. Pretty much all been bent one way or another. It's sitting on a 3/4 ton Ford and definitely should have been put on a 1 ton as we've had to re-arch the springs and put add-a-leafs on to handle the weight. Don't have any pics of it. Sorry.

The first pic is of my current 1 ton Dually ride, with a flat bed.
The 2nd pic is of my old rampdeck carhauler, technically not a flatbed, but different nonetheless:
