SOME NEWBEE QUESTIONS - Dodge Diesel

WHAT IS BOMBING? HOW WORRIED ABOUT THIS DEADLY DOWEL PIN DO I NEED TO BE? IS THERE ANYWAY OF FINDING OUT IF A REPAIR HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE TO THE DOWEL? ITS A USED 97 WITH 100,000 AND I KNOW NONE OF THE PRIOR HISTORY (ACTUALLY BOUGHT IT FROM A FORD DEALER!!)

WHAT ELSE ON THIS TRUCK SHOULD I BE CONCERNED ABOUT? 97 4X4 EXT. CAB SLT 1OO,000

Welcome to the site. Bomding is just mods, for more power. I don't think there is a way to find out if the pin has been fixed or not but I doubt it. I have 248K miles on my truck and I have not had a problem and DC service records on my truck are showing that it has never had a problem. BUT BUT I am worried not real bad. The service manger at my dealer said they would do it for $60 since I did not have the time. And I really like the dealer here in Warrensburg (there not ***** bags). Bomb=better off modified baby you might try www.carfacts.com (I think that is it) for work previously done on vehicle
