Welcome to the site. Bomding is just mods, for more power. I don't think there is a way to find out if the pin has been fixed or not but I doubt it. I have 248K miles on my truck and I have not had a problem and DC service records on my truck are showing that it has never had a problem. BUT BUT I am worried not real bad. The service manger at my dealer said they would do it for $60 since I did not have the time. And I really like the dealer here in Warrensburg (there not ***** bags).
