You are very welcome sir! I have done extensive research on coolant formulations for several years and believe that it would be a dis-service to the DTR community if I did not share my findings.

Ok, so why do you run 100% antifreeze? You know it's going to freeze up on you when it gets cold, and the heat transfer properties are not as good as a 50/50 mix!!!!!

This horse got beat to death a few times. I am a rebel maverick that dances to the beat of my own drum. You can search 100% antifreeze and the battle can be relived. I am not being flippant, just don't want to be attacked again...Mark

oh. I was actually hoping for a few intelligent points on why you've come to believe that running pure antifreeze is beneficial?

The main reason that I do is for the extremely good results I have gotten in 30 years of experience with it, mostly the lack of minerals and corrosion in general. Marf has been in some of the discussions on this, I was kidding with him. There are many reasons to not put water in it. Contrary to Jmartin's belief, we in Phoenix are now allowed to travel out of the desert I think it was allowed under Obama care. I did not mean to trivialize your question. I will try to find the big battle thread and send you the link...Mark

No apology necessary, I got the answer I needed from this thread. Now I'm looking forward to another 100% antifreeze debate.

I love when Einstein is intended as an insult

Actually, Einstein and I get along pretty well. I think thick skin helps.

Thick skin is something I've developed in the last couple years and I'm here to tell you, it sure is a welcomed change from the thin skin of the past!

My comments are all sarcasm, that's one of the many services that I offer on a regular basis

I do find it odd that the slightest mention of 100% antifreeze by mark in any of these threads compels so many people to bash his idea and tell him how ignorant he is.

Thanks, that is what I have said all along. If J. Martin recalls, he called 93flatbed Einstein in one of 93's threads. I have never called anyone a name on this forum before, I was pointing out to Martin that he had, maybe in bad form. I am sure he remembers, if not I can provide the link. It is silly to attack me for what I do, especially when NONE of the maladies that they predict happen...Mark
