Where to buy thin fibreglass sheets

Where can I buy thin (1/16") fibreglass sheets to glue to plywood? Alternatively, fiberglass already glued to thin plywood. Color does not matter as it will be painted to match my truck.
Need it to replace some damaged skirts on my RV.

Your probably looking at too mcuh to consider a DIY fiberglass kit and making your own.

I can buy aluminum or thin galvanized sheets locally and glue that on to the plywood and it will look like factory when finished, but would prefer the fiberglass sheets. Aluminum is probably the way I will end up going due to the weight. Only problem it may show impact damage easier.

Try some where they sell boat stuff, they usually have glass or kits for repairing boats.

Glass kits will not cut it for this job as I need some sections that are about 18" wide by about 10 feet long. Also, I am in Mexico, so boat places are non existant.

Am now thinking that the easist way for me is to completely strip off the old stuff to the frames and install what is locally known as MDF. It is a composition board of some sort that is very smooth and very water resistant. Then cover that with maybe .020" or .032" aluminum.

Stan, Google rigid fiberglass panels. I believe you'll find your answer there. Here's a couple possibilities.

There's also carbon fiber with a gelcoat finish.

I just bought 4' X 8' X 3/16" fiberglass matting here in Michigan about 2 months ago. I had to re-wrap a fiberglass bucket on a cherry picker/bucket truck. Let me know if these are what you are looking for and I'll see if I can get more. Shipping should be easy, just roll 'em up and send 'em!

I think Home depot handles something close to what you are describing. Maybe Stan could stop in the Valley as he crosses the border.

Thanks, but do not want matting as that is too much work for what I need to do. I can buy the matting locally. Need a smoothly finished product, with or without gelcoat and no more than 1/16" thick.

Is it the diesel fumes, or something else that gives some DTR members such a warped sense of humor. Love it, as it matches mine.
