brake light & abs as well

Mine is similar to the previous post with the following exception. I had a draw tite flip ball gooseneck hitch installed this week. The guy said he didn't think I had the clearance to put the ball in upside down. Should have listened. I measured almost 3 inches from the bottom of the bed to the top of the axle. Well bang bang it sheared the right rear brake line in half. I replaced that today as well as the wheel cylinder. After bleeding the brakes with the engine off I now have the ABS light on & the brake light on. What will reset that? Battery off? Everything is fine & the brakes are working fine again. Parking brake is not dragging.

did it get the speed sensor mount in the differential as well?

this sensor will cause the brake and abs lights to light.

No. I drove it for a day with it snapped in half with no lights on. They only came on after I replaced the wheel cylinder & bled the lines.

One other thing that was odd, when the line sheared in half the differential valve did work or I wouldn't had any brakes yet the brake light never came on. It only came on after the wheel cylinder was replaced & the whole line from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinder was bleed.

Still, check the condition and continuity of the ABS sensor line. That's what sets off both of those lights....

Turns out it is a bad abs switch at the master cylinder. Literally broken. Replaced & good as new. Thanks
