Pulling what?

A 66 is not the best turbo for pulling on a stockish truck, it can be but its going to take a lot of money and mods. I would pass it up.

I ran a 66mm silver bullet for about a year with stock injectors and it was couple hundred degrees warmer then my stock turbo during all throttle ranges. and was kind of a pain until I did nozzles and dual cp3's.

Sorry I never towed with it but I assume it would be a pain. I'd suggest a 63mm turbo and upgrade to twins if you wanted more power if it was a tow rig/ daily driver.

Much too big of a turbo for towing/DDing with either CR in your sig.

Really it's not good for towing on any truck, it can be made to work but not ideal regardless of the setup.

What he said, it would be terrible for towing.

Thanks for the quick responses. I think I'll call the guys at industrial injection and see what they recommend. I' m thinking more towards a 62mm after doing some reading.

The Stage 2 from Garratt is a GREAT way to go as well.

II recommended their PS 62/65/14 for me. It's great for towing and DD. EGT is LOW and it spools very good. The exh and drain bolted up but I had to shorten the DP about 1" and find a different boost hose. Great turbo but ask if they can build it so everything bolts up. Craig

I asked about the single, but they recommended I save up and at least do an add a turbo compound kit for the amount of pulling I do. I got the truck out of the trany shop today and finally got to drive it with my ramifier on it and am stoked. I think for the mean time if I can find a cheap bigger turbo I will go that way and save for the compounds.

I'm running a built 62/65 (Majestic Turbo) like C Shomer, and while it's not a huge upgrade, it is quite a difference from the stocker. The top end is way better and it spools pretty fast.....coupled with my Flux 2's it's an awesome setup and tows pretty darn good.
