I have been looking for greasable bolts( wet shackle bolts) for my trailer. The only ones I have found are 9/16 x 3 and 3 .5 are needed. Is this something that is not available for heavier trailers?


If these are not available, could you drill and tap a zerk in the spring eye without spring failure?

How heavy of a trailer is it?

Dexter makes a heavy duty upgrade kit. I think it comes with new equalizer, some metal bushings, and greaseable bolts...

 

It has two 7k axles with slipper springs

 

I just looked at the dexter upgrade kit , and they were all for 1.75 wide springs. I want something better on there because I broke a spring eye the other day but not from overloading.
