aftermarket switch placement on a 03

I started a thread on this before, but I cant seem to find it. I have an 03 with heated seats and electric shift transfer case. I need to put in a few switches

Nitrous on/off
purge
bottle opener
bottle warmer
bd rad
turbo timer

I think that is all i need. I found a nice panel from a company called 12voltguy.com,, but I dont know where to put it. Looking for any ideas or pics that you guys can come up with

Thanks

kevin

under ur radio is a slot that has rubber pad in it, what about fabbing up a plate that would cover that slot up so u can mount ur switches, and they would be readily accessable

The idea that I have wouldn't require as many additional switch if you have steering wheel radio controls. You can always rewire the radio controls on the back of the steering wheel to do some of those features.

With some minor modification with a dremel tool, I put one in my truck, but the would be room for more. Can't find my pic but it basically in the panel next to the headlight switch. I had to clear out behind it because it was a pretty deep switch. It looks like there may be room for 4-6 switches.

Did you ever try the area between the seat and the door like you had mentioned in the previous thread? If not, my vote and placement for mine eventually will be the "pencil tray" located to the left of the cupholders where a manual 4x4 lever would be. If you want, I can try running some blanks to go over it and get a good snap in fastener onto it and let you go from there.

Not quite sure exactly where you are talking about? Do you happen to have a pic?

Thanks

Found a pic of mine. Not as nice as the ones above, but I think there is room for at least 4-6 of them! A smaller switch would make it a lot easier to install too! I wanted the "rocket launcher" look, so I had to make some extra provisions!

I have a couple of switches mounted just above where you have that switch,, but I want to get a place where I can mount 6 or so, or maybe put in a panel

I think I attached some pictures to this reply, I hope it came out. Pay no attention to the dirt/coffee spills, I haven't cleaned it this week. If the pictures don't show up, I should have them in my pictures in my gallery.

The long rectangular insert is the one I plan on replacing with a panel for my switches. It just pops out, and I plan on having the new panel just pop in.

I like to avoid drilling/screwing to the panels whenever possible.
