Smarty + Dr. Performance =?? anyone stacking? (03-04)

I was wondering if anyone was stacking the Smarty and Dr. Performance pressure box (2013)

Do you like?

And what exactly is the Dr. Performance box doing?

I ran DR. P/smarty for a while, but it was a little to much fuel for the air ive got, would suggest turbo and injector upgrade before the pressure box, as i gues its hard on the stock nozzels. i would also suggest a rail pressure gauge

a pressure box raises rail pressure and fuels harder.

Incredibly fast with that stack though!
and the install takes oh.... 2 minutes!

I like mine but only turn on the Dr when I really want to play.
Very smooth and a good kick in the pants for power when I switch it to perfomance if the smarty is on 7 or lower.

I have the same setup. With my setup I actually use the smarty setting on 1. I"ve ran the 9,7,5,3 & I like the 1 setting best on the TNT/R because at setting 1 it makes 50 psi. But when I turn on the Dr. P box it jumps right up to 26K psi and boost jumps to 60psi. When I got my duel CP3 I sent the Dr. P box back and they readjusted it (for free) so the psi wouldn't go over 26k.

I think I will install it with the yellow wire and only kick it on when needed and will not run with the extra pressure all the time.

so the 2013 box is fuel and pressure only. no timing?

it's ok to run smarty on odds and even?

The Dr.P box is a great pressure box. When on they dyno I noticed even with the pressure added with the Smarty that I would loose pressure in the hight RPMs. With the Dr. P box on there I never drop below 25,000 psi on the rail. It doesnt matter what programming i'm running. I got rid of my Smarty due to personal issues with it and now I run a PPE and I have the 300 hp HOT tune on it and my truck has never ran better. I run the medium setting or the HOT tune on my PPE along with my Dr.P box both at the same time and average 20-22mpg at 70-85mph. Not bad considering the size of my truck and my injectors and turbo that I run. Also Dr.P custom tuned my box for my truck considering I only run 1500 RPMs at 70mph. Great company to deal with, lost of nice people there , and they make a great product too.
