Front springs

On my 93, should the front leafs have a slight negative arch, or is that just sagging? It is a 4x4 and those are obviously some pretty beefy springs but I would do just about anything to improve the ride, even a little. If they are indeed sagging, seems to me this would 'eat up' what little working range these stiff springs had, like when they were new!

mine dont have a negitive arch on them but they are flat. Change the amount of air in your air shocks to change the ride.

OE shocks were not air shocks. My springs did have a negative arch, and I know of 2 other dodges out there with negative arch, because they have sagged. This engine is really really heavy. Now you can see I have the skyjacker 2.5in lift springs ride is much better and they actually have positive arch. There is also about 3 more inches between the bump stop and spring now than there was before.

The plate in the door says that it has air shocks, it gives the amount of air to put in and everything.

I was thinking of putting 2.5 skyjacker springs on the front. Figured it would about bring the front up even with the rear, or maybe a touch higher, which would be ok with me.
How much did you pay for the skyjacker fronts?

Front OEM air shocks..mmmmm

I got the set and new bushings, you have to use the skyjacker bushings, for like 350 I think maybe a little less. wasn't too bad.

Air shocks are pretty cheap. I have them all the way around on my Blazer. I run 25psi around town, and 135psi off road. It gives me just over 2" more clearance and takes the big bumps better without bottoming out as much.

I full set on the Cummins might be a good idea.

The air shocks were part of the Plow Prep Package. I would guess that is what your truck has, Mainer.
