Im seeing what everyone is getting for egts when driving 70, if you could include egts for uphill, downhill, and level ground at 70 mph, thanks
I see around 650* on the level at 70 mph . . . about 850 to 950* on long uphills .... and 300* on downhills. Like rebal said, it depends a lot on the wind. I've seen over 850* on the level in a stiff headwind here in Eastern Wyoming.

I see 850-875 on level ground, as high as 1200 going up hill, and 400 going down hill, i think my egts are higher than most peoples and im not sure what else to do about it, without adding a water/meth system
4969joes, maybe your gauge is off. My gauge reads about 25 degrees high at it's lowest reading. What I mean is this--when I get in my truck in the morning and it's about 50 degrees out, the EGT gauge reads 75 degrees. I don't know if that temp differential remains constant over the entire readout or not.
