I'm putting together the needed parts to install a PSD i/c and a crossflow rad on my 90 CTD and I'm wondering the best route to plumb the cold side of the i/c.I could put on an intake elbow that points to the front of the engine and then a few bends down past the injection pump to the i/c.I'd like to use the cooler tubz from Tworline, but turning the tube forward to clear the master cylinder will block one of the intake/grid heater bolts.Is it possible to change the one bolt for a stud, lock it in place then slide the heater and intake tube on top?
To clear the master cylinder all you have to do is flip your intake plate-the plate thats under the grid heater. I just did mine-you will have to fab up some fuel line braces, and either go to an intercooled style throttle bracket or make an extension to use the one you have, I did this, will get pics tomorrow.
Do you still have space between the heater and the fuel lines? Looking at pics of i/c engines the heater sits on the next set of intake bolts which puts it real tight to the fuel lines?

You can also get a 2nd Gen intake horn, which angles toward the front. This gives a two-fold advantage- it is bigger (3" instead of 2-1/2), and it smooths flow to the intake. I didnt get real detailed in my measuring in my 91, but I think it could work for you.
ANother option is to flip the intake plate, and get some intercooled lines and clamps.
