When signing up there is a request for new members to post in the introductions forum. One does not exist yet. Kind of like your new to the forum, here is you first scavenger hunt.
I appreciate your suggestion. We had talked about doing this before but in the spirit of keeping our forum simple and to the point without too much clutter, we decided against it. Most folks when they come on board post their intro in the "other" section. I would possibly consider putting one as a sub-forum in the other section if there was a demand for it.

First off, thanks for the info & tons of knowledge I have pilfered from you guys. A little about me:
Well, here goes. My 16 year old needed her first car. I wanted something big & safe for her. Looked on craigslist & found one that said Dodge diesel, $3200. Went to look. As I pulled up the old timer is sitting on the porch & yells out "I'll take $2500". Took it for a drive, everything worked. Went back & offered him $2000. I took it home, & my daughter got a Ford Tempo.
It's an '89 250 4X4 with a banks intercooler & intake, gauges, what appears to be a new injection pump, overdrive with a lock-up TC, in a reg cab long bed. It rides like a hay wagon, smokes like a chimney & smells like my grandpas shed inside. I love it.
In 2 years I've changed oil & driven the hell out of it.
Just pulled it apart to drop into an '84 crew cab. I hope I can get it to run again...
