hey man, thats the same issue i have with this sh!t block heather i got. this is my first diesel and read cold starts arent the best so i started playing with the block heater. i ohmed it out and all readings were normal. just a very weak part. for next winter im gunna be prepared with a tank heater f!ck this. best i do for the cold mornings, unplug, start,and sit on my hands for 10 min.
