Hey Nathan, my name is CJ and I found you on a lot of threads related to compound setups on third gen cummins. I'm really interested in building my 06 with compounds mainly for towing in the mountains of Colorado. Shooting for mid 600s for horsepower that way I can have a reliable build. I'm in the mind set currently to build the valve train and add as much air as I can before I throw fuel and turbos at it. Next purchase will be an intercooler and maybe some 90hp injectors with a 10mm cp3. Can you talk to me about pointing me in the right direction with my build and help me get together a list of parts? I'm pretty mechanically inclined and plan on doing a majority of the work myself. Just trying to pick someone's brain that has experience with what works and what doesn't. I live at an elevation of about 9,000ft and can easily see an elevation change of 4000ft either direction of that in a regular day's worth of driving. Also wanting to go with EFI Live but not sure who to use
