Billit thank you I changed it to the other side.
This is in the U.P. right now. I'm moving north east of Detroit in a week that's why it's such a big push to get this done or at least close before I leave.
I can't take the body/paint work credit although other than color match my paint work still looks better than 1/2 the shops around here.
I painted the exhaust side to much stuff in the way on the intake side.
Thanks

picture time.
Doors on
core support loosely mounted getting ready for fenders.
latches rods, handles and weather stripping installed.
good shot of how well the two tone lined up this is where a couple hours of layout pays off, I might not even put a pinstripe on if the alignment is this good throughout the truck.
Also did lots of unseen stuff like wiring repairs and routing along with re installed the fuel tank and bled the system.
Picture of the last truck I got anywhere near this much work into at one time.

Did you gut all the doors before painting? I need to do this on my truck, minor rust in there and would like to put some fresh paint on it. Maybe undercoating to dampen the sound.

These doors got 100% gutted because I changed colors they were a dark blue/ silver I also don't like overspray or things painted that shouldn't be. If there is no issues behind a part it and you don't care they can be taped off.
Got fenders on and lined up today that was the big thing did some other random stuff too.
I also found holes in my intercooler so it looks like the PS intercooler needs to go in.
Visually it's going to look the same for a while as I put more back together.

Got a late start tonight one window is in and I figured out the speaker wiring again. I'll do a write up on both of these when I get a little down time.

dash
thinking about doing this instead of the pillar pod
dash.
windows and mirrors on and wiper linkage installed
radio windows and power locks work.
front speakers only at this point.
now I just need to figure out why when I try to do anything electrically the wipers run and what I'm trying to do doesn't work. I'm betting it has a lot to do with grounds I haven't gotten to yet.

well this is it for "fast" progress I'm headed down to my new job tomorrow. I do have a few things that need to be brought north and can't be in the building Fri-Sun so I might at least get it running before winter.
All day today was spent on two projects neither of them got completely finished.
Installing the PS intercooler was the big goal. It's sitting in place but not mounted yet. My goal on this after it got going is to not modify the intercooler to the point of welding(Steel welding only no aluminum). I will need to get some steel for the mounts but it can't get much tighter than it is to the core support and the stock mounts are still on. I will still need to modify the lower valance and grill just a little.
I also spent way to much time sanding on this gauge pod (fits 98-02 rams) to get it to fit. Also painted it to match the dash.
