Hi guys -- My buddy just called me stranded in his 981/2 24v . He parked his truck at work, went out 4 hours later & it wouldnt start. He said after he cranked it for a REALLY long time, it finally fired, and seemed to run ok, but had the same problem after he shut it down again. i told him not to try it again fearing this is a Lp/Ip problem....Any ideas would be appreciated to get him pointed in the right direction -- Thanks in advance

 

maybe losing prime ??? somebody will chime in with more experience

 

He should have a fuel pressure guage. If not he should install one or a temporary one to verify fuel pressure. I would do that and also inspect the lines esp behind the tank for possible leaks.
