I finally straight-piped my 1994 12v. Custom 4" Pipe come out behind the rear tire. No drone, nice turbo sound. Seriously I thought it was going to be too loud inside the cab. I have to really listen for a tail pipe noise exiting. I am pleased!

 

You might get drone when pulling a load, if so just wrap exhaust from turbo to back behind cab with moroso header wrap. I like mine straight!! Goodluck, Rick

 

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. My trailer is currently snowed in for the winter but I can't wait to take off with it. I used to have a straight pipe 6.9 Ford and it was much loader, maybe the turbo helps with exhaust note some? I definately like hearing the turbo spool up! I had my wife drive by the house and I could hear the turbo from inside.

 

My friends 95 auto is a lot louder than mine. My truck has always been quiet and I wish it was louder.
