I need new front rotors and noticed napa sells a premium rotor and an ultra premium rotor (neither are drilled or slotted).

I also noticed there is a cheap Raybestos Aimco rotor and a more expensive Raybestos Advanced Technology rotor.

Any idea what the difference is? Chinese made vs. US made?

Neither IMO. I have tried both NAPA rotors with their "premium pads". Both are junk. Sweak from the time they are new till you take them off. Maybe someone else has had better luck, but I am fed up with NAPA parts. Used to be good stuff for a good price 10 years ago. Now everything I buy doesn't fit right, fails right after warranty goes out or wears out far to early. I buy from the dealer or Cummins on all parts unless they are performance. Worth the extra $. Sorry for the rant, but the parts from Dodge were only 25% higher and after doing that job several times I wish I had stuck to my Dealer only parts philosophy.

I've never had a problem with thier rotors. I always buy thier premium rotors & The "fleet pads" [special order].

Save your money and buy high quality Brembo rotors from www.tirerack.com
They won't cost much more and will last the life of your truck as long as you don't use pads that are too hard such as the lifetime free replacement kind.

I ordered brembo front rotors from autopartswarehouse.com and what I received was incorrect. The rotors looked to be an old style with the hub being part of the rotor. Overall it has been a bad experience. I just tried calling tire rack and they told me the brembo front rotors are no longer available for my truck? Now what?

After the bad experience with the online order I kind of would rather go with a local parts store so I don't have to deal with this return shipping crap if they are incorrect.

You ordered or received rotors for a 2wd.
If you only paid for 4wd you got an excellent deal, they are usually over $100 more each for 2wd.

When I ordered them they verified year, vehicle, 4wd, etc. a half dozen times. Anyway, its great that they are worth more than what I ordered but they do me no good on my 4wd truck so they are useless to me.

I checked the brembo website and they list part# 27126 as being what I need. Autobarn.com lists them but I don't know if I should take the chance again?

I had great luck with NAPA's premium rotor. At the time I believe they were $84.00 ea w/my AAA card. The guy who installed them did a mild, on the truck maching like he does for all brands including Mopar's. The work was done at a Dodge dealer by an ASE Dodge brake tech.

I bought the premium rotors for my truck from NAPA. They are garaunteed to be "true" - ready to install, no machining needed. I haven't put them on my truck yet.

Yes, these bad boys are made in China. Should go nicely with my Chinese made hub I have to replace on the right side.

Another 20k miles or so, I'll have a complete Chinese front end!
