Wheelskins steering wheel cover

I just received the Wheekskin that I ordered for Geno's Garage. I was wondering if anybody has any tips to install. I will be installing tonight.
Thanks in advance.

Take your time and make sure that when you pull the thread thru, make sure it is not tangled up cuz if you pull it tight it will knot.

Make sure after you do the dummy threads that you get lined up with the correct hole.

It took me about 2 hours.

Thanks Hercules, I appreciate the advice. I figured it would take longer than 1 hour like the package says.

Will the wheelskin stretch over a leather wheel to thicken it?

Thanks
Pete

Yes it will. That's what I did on mine so that when I remove the wheelskins I will still have a perfect leather wrapped steering wheel.

I had great results with my wheelskin fron Geno's. It tool me 2-3 hours for the install. It took a while to get a good rythem and pattern going.

I dont think the quality of the leater is as good as stock. After 7 months the leather has broken down a little bit. Its not as smooth and a little rough at te 11-1 o'clock position.

Still very happy with my $27 dollar leather wheel kit.

I've had my wheelskin for over a year now and it still is in great shape! Very, very little wear. It's an awesome product!

I think it was Charcoal. Takes a while to put on and the string is a little tough on the hands and finger trying to pull it tight.
