What's it feel like

what does it feel like when your torque converter slips? I think it happened to me today.

Your torque convertor always slips. Your thinking of your clutches in your tranny (i think) unless your running a lock up. Feels like power not making it to the ground. Hard to describe. If it happens again, you'll know.

I would say it would be the equivalent of your tires slipping on a slick road, although maybe not that pronounced. A spike in RPMs and no power to the wheels. If you have a transmission temperature gauge, slipping clutches will heat the fluid really fast!

yeah. i had a sharp spike in rpm and a percieved loss of power.
