wd40

Im trying to figure out my fuel system on my 24v. I have tried to bleed it out but it still wont start. Is it something more severe if even wd40 cant get it to chirp a little.

I cracked an injector and it only drips out it doesnt spray out. I though a diesel could run on wd40 even without fuel.

Don't use ether. Crack the #3 and #5 injector a little more and let the fuel run as you crank the motor. Make sure your lift pump is pumping and then snug up the injector nuts and start it. Kind of messy but a clean truck that won't start isn't much good. Make sure you've got good fuel pressure after it starts. Kurt

Also agree on not using Starting aids. If it wont start on diesel, you have a prob. If no diesel is present, there is a fuel delivery issue.
Start at the fuel filter, either take the top of the filter housing on and turn the key on or pull a line off the filter base and turn key on to see if you have fuel moving. If so crack injector lines going into the head and have someone crank it over until fuel starts pumping . If fuel doesn't start shooting out after a min. or so , its more than likely you have a pump issue.

Hey Joey, fill out your sig or list what year your truck is. If its 99 or newer you can check for codes by turning the key to run and off three times and then watching for codes in teh odometer window. P0216 is bad news as that s the dreaded death code for the vp44. Hopefully you just need to get fuel thru the pump and into the cylinders. Did you change the fuel filter. Why is there no fuel to the injection pump?
