The Water Cooler ** JAN 08 - 14 **

Happy New Week.

Gotta get up early and catch those pesky squids still snoozing in their bunks.

Been up & in the kitchen since 0600.
Min-Pin's been out and now comfortably snoozing at the bottom of the dirty clothes basket.
Snausage sammiches done, plated, and rready to eat, full pot o coffee done.
If ya go away hungry, it's yer own danged fault.

Heading out to straightewn up the garage when the temps get out of the 20s........

Have a great DTR day.

mikmaze, PM me with what you are looking for as to quantities. Or send me you phone # and we can discuss it. Haven't looked much for semolina, but it's something I need to do. I'm using hard red winter wheat out of west Oklahoma. It's great for bread. We have soft winter wheat here but it doesn't do good unless your doing pancakes and such. trying to find a good source for hard white wheat. It makes a nice golden color bread. Wife is doing some experimenting today. She's working on a whole wheat Portugese bread. Might be interesting.
Gotta git back to work. Gonna cut out a bit early and have a b-day party for me and my youngest g-kid. Mountain Dew and Cheetos for her, cold beer for me.

Did they even sing Happy Birthday waaaaaaay back when you were a kid Shortround ?? ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG GUY !!!! MANY,MANY MORE TO COME !!!

Spent the entire day on the computer ... learning old world timber framing and jointery (is that even a word ?). Sure can't wait to get home to build my half-timber barn. Should be much stronger than my house ... wifey will look at me like I'm .

Anybody ever raise llamas or alpacas ??? I think I want to have a few on the farm for the kids to raise and sell some wool. Just would like to talk to someone who actually has/had them instead of the internet "salesmen".

Enjoy the rest of the weekend .... mines coming to an end.

someone tell those dogs to shut up..........
well, the "tip" was good.... hate to see that stuff happen, its just stupidity in my honest opinion. There are enough legal ways to kill brain cells, theres just no excuse........

SR, ya got a good sourdough recipe by any chance? My mouth is watering over teh idea of some sourdough pancakes or biscuits......Do ya think ya can make it to Springfeild ?

Got teh filly out for her second session yesterday, I hope every colt I start this year goes this easy and calm.
I'll be trail riding her by March, and hope to get her in teh arena by June.

Well, the BOSS is stirring.....she sleeps in on weekends, time to go help with her gardening chores........

Ah another day to work...(night) Happy Birthday SR. Hope it was a goodin.

Son came down from the big city today so Momma fixed his favorite. Mountains of fried taters, huge pot of baked beans and bacon, and all the hot dogs you can eat. Oh yea, red velvet cake and cheesecake too. I guess she still thinks he's 12, but that sure was good for a change.

(Wonder if i can get him to come more often?)

Tossed the old football for a bit then got out the bows and shot. Found out the wife has been practicing

Back to work,

Ed

Happy Birthday Shortround!

You know you're getting old when 'getting a little action' means you didn't need to take your fiber today.

Hope you had a good one! (birthday, not the fiber related activity!)

chaikwa.
