this should help some.

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/....html?t=211443

Avoid what the white box says, you'll see that little round cap on top the pump? take that cap out and undo the 13mm nut and take the nut completely off and put a TORX bit on that screw and run it all the way down.

You could also rotate the fuel pin for more power/smoke.

Its harder to get smoke out of a i/c truck because the injectors in the i/c trucks are much smaller than the stock injectors in NON i/c trucks... if you don't have gauges you cant tweak on the fuel screw.. the fuel (power) screw will get you smokin. How good are your mechanical skills??

You know about the sticky right? The locked thread at the top of the 1st gen forum (where all the posts are). theres alot of info in there if you scroll down to performance.

boost and EGT are good.

Fuel pressure is also very important but get egt and boost before.

looking at his profile hes 24. i dont think this needs to turn into a bashing thread lets just tell him how to tune a pump. we all now with power comes smoke, theres no way around that. but having it tuned and parts matched will make less smoke. im not a 12v guy but listen to what these guys will tell you and dont try to get smoke try to get tuned!

is the truck an auto of manual?

an easy way to blow some smoke is to run the starwheel to full bottom

Yea running the starwheel to full bottom and tweaking fuel screw won't make you friggin smoke out intersections. lol but it will smoke.

Your best source of information is right here. These guys have helped me through every, however minor they have been so far, modification I have done to my truck. I know that with power comes smoke but remember all that big inky black cloud is, is wasted fuel... or room for nitrous

<---- I just added that because it was the first time I saw it and I think its friggin hilarious!!!

smoke is sometimes fun, but be careful, it can get you in trouble.
