for just a touch more than $1k you can pull one up from the states. I wouldn't buy one in canada at all. I know 2 guys running pensacola diesel VPs. and one bluechip diesel VP. I got mine from Industrial injection but it was a HRVP and I wouldn't do that again. I'd get the cheapest possible.

3yrs ago I got one from Vimy Diesel (souther Alberta) on advice from Midwest diesel injection, back then I believe I paid 1100? plus bus freight, so it was under 12$, that was also when the Dollar was near par, what Vimy was doing then was matching the internet price from Midwest and adding 100$. not sure if they are still doing it or not.
I must have got a good pump cause that was 180,000kms ago and over 6000hrs of runtime.
I never had good luck getting a decent price out of NADP or GCL, maybe you will have better luck.
I do know NH diesel service (around 160st and 117ave) could get me a VP for around 1200-1400 with a 1yr warrantee, not sure who the manufacture would be though, it was about two yrs ago when I asked.
When/if ordering from the states, watch out for UPS/FEDex, they will kill you with customs fees!! if A vender cant ship via USPS (postal service) I wont buy from them

Its funny that you guys never get good pricing out of GCL. I have never had luck with NADP, but GCL has always been more than fair.
Not only that, but I can have the parts up here same day most times, or overnight otherwise. Last time I ordered a VP from the states, the brokerage fees were horrendous, and the wait time was simply idiotic. That led me to stay on the canadian side of the border when buying.
There are only a handful of companies on the US side that I would deal with, due to past experience. If they say that they only ship UPS... out the window right there.
Just my experience.
