volant air intake
Anyone have one of these for their 2nd gen.? They seem pretty desent, and their site says they have a proguard7 filter available, which I assume is made by AFE. It even looks like it has a duct coming out the backside of the airbox which I assume is for if you wanna run a duct to your cowl. Is this intake worth getting or am I better off with an AFE stage1 and torq. tube?

Does yours have the Proguard7 filter? Oh, and do they actually have a hole in the back of the box that you could use to run a duct to the cowl, and do you use it?

I also have one of the volant cool air boxes. Yes it does come with the hole in the back of the box. After installation the hole is about 2 or 3 inches from the cowl, so you would have to get a tube to connect the box to the cowl. I do not have it hooked up, so dont know if it pulls much warm air in through the hole or not. It also comes with the premium filter, its a 7 or 8 layer cotton/oiled filter.
