I can reach the clamp with my ratcheting wrench which is how I got it loose, but I can't seem to get it to break the seal around the turbo and flange from the downpipe. Actually I have half of it loose the other half is stuck on the turbo I was playing around last night till 1000 trying to get it loose with a flat head screwdriver. Not enough room or the right angle to get a mallet in there and hammer it loose.

Down pipes suck. They are a pain as you can prolly tell. The only thing you can do is get MEAN! with things.

I would get the longest flat head screw driver, or long rod of some sort and crawl under the truck and start hitting the clamp. Once you get the clamp completly loose from everything were it will spin around, try to pry it apart. Pulling the bolt out of the keeper hole so it flops back. This is not easy. You should be able to get the clamp either up or down at this point.

Anyway you look at it, you just have to get rougher than you want too. The clamp isn't welded on, just stuck. It would help if there was a little more room so both hands could be used. Without a doubt it is easier to have one guy under the truck and another under the hood.

Have fun, and ask for forgiveness for all the cursing.
