Tow Mirrors

Can you still get tow mirrors on a 2500? When you build a 2500 or a 3500 online there is no option for tow mirrors. What's up with that??

Yeah, but nobody has the truck that i'm looking for. A 2500 SC, LWB, SLT 4x4. I've found only 2 dealers that have some but their st's and only 2 wheel drive.

dodge's build-your-own site is horrible. The mirrors are are still an option. Also there are some option packages such as the Thunder-road package whcich will save you some money. These don't show up on the site either. I have found that nadaguides.com and msn.com's build your own is pretty accurate. They also show you the list price which will help you negotiate.

I think the tow mirrors are standard on 2500/3500 if you want the heated shorter electrics they are about $40 more.

My '05 2500 came with the heated tow mirrors. I've noticed that the "build your own" section of the Dodge site is less than stellar. It lacks options that are known the be available.

I didn't like the dodge website either. But it did provide links to all the dealers websites. Some of their websites also provide an inventory list. Have you checked with Randall Noe in Terrell? How about Greenville Chrysler/Dodge or the one in Bonham. There are huge dealers all over the metroplex......i am sure that one of them has your truck. Rockwall is another one to look at. I happen to get mine in McKinney. I was snooping around on their lot late at night when they were closed, and found my truck still wrapped in the protective wrap where it had just got off the transport truck. I Went back the next day and started dealing on MY truck. There has to be 20 or 30 some odd dodge dealers in the DFW area so you shouldn't have any trouble finding your ride, including the tow mirrors. I have seen several of the Cummins trucks without the mirrors and I think the owners are really missing out. They should be standard equipment on these trucks IMHO. Good luck with your search.

Texas CTD, I'm sure glad DC doesn't agree with your opinion that those big UGLY tow mirrors should be standard. I'm very happy with my short PRETTY mirrors and **** slide ons when I tow my 24 foot car trailer. I haven't looked at the '05 build your own Dodge website since I built (and bought) my own '04. JOIBO!

short pretty mirrors that make the truck look dinky and **** slide ons which i think are the ugliest thing to ever hit store shelves...nice. Tow mirrors make the truck look stronger

Maybe DC should make the heated Flip-Out Mirrors standard equipment, but have a "delete" option with a credit for those that want to order the dinky mirrors...LOL.

Seriously, Moterhead, I am glad you are happy with your mirrors. If all our trucks were the same, it would be a boring world.

I had to get the dealer to swap out the stock mirrors for those ugly, but oh so functional Dodge tow mirrors on my new 05. Charged me 450.00 "their cost" Oh, did I tell you all dealers are liars?? They are a 100.00 factory option, but I was not going to argue at that point....

They are a great design, and look better than those "2 stick-arm" Ford mirrors, but I do like the look of the stock mirrors better....

I hate to say it but actually I like the overall design of the Ferd 2 stick extention tow mirrors however they would look real silly on Big Ol RAM

The only thing I like on the "2 stick arm" Ford tow mirrors are the lights/turn signals in the mirror. I wish I had that for when im hauling...
