Too much for Super B?

Whats up guys.
So Im cuently running just my J/A for fuel, I was about to put in some bosch 300's but got a chance to get some Mach 4's for the 300's and my bush wackes.
I really want the 150's, as Ive been planning to do compounds with Smarty Juice stack and 150's for some time, but the compounds are still a ways away.

My question is Will my Super B handle the fuel? I have an adjustable boost elbow but dont plan on pushin any more then 40 lbs with it.
I tow under 10 k, but tow often and all around town. I do turn the Juice down to tow though just to keep from smokin too much.
I also race pretty often in the summer as well, were I obviously wouldnt care about smoke there, but more EGT's.

If I can get em Im gonna play with em and the juice carefully, Just wonderin if 150's and Juice on various stages would be WAY to big for a Super B, till I can do compounds.
TIA
Ian.

I would get them. If you don't use all your fuel, you won't have any issues. If you have it on kill, that turbo will definitely be undersized. That being said, I ran 140hp injectors on a stock turbo and loved it. Real strong bottom end. I never towed with it though, so thats the wild card. EGT's never changed though, except for when the pedal was mashed to the floor. Turbo will change low fuel EGT's more than the injectors will.

Im gonna go for em, I just need my buddy to go through with gettin 200's so I can take his 150's off his hands now.

Guess compounds will be closer down the road then I thought!

you have plenty of adjustability with the J/A, so you can keep it turned down until you figure out what's next

Mach 4's are the best all around injectors on the market....IMHO.
Your turbo will clean air up completely after some boost and will handle almost all your power. (all of it in short bursts ).
If your still running stock injectors, they may be pretty tired so should be big difference.
I would guess no more smoke other than pre boost, even at your altitude.
Just read an interesting post where member got less smoke from Mach 4's than from 90 hp Jammers!.......
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...76&postcount=6

I'm switching back to Mach 4's when summer hits.
We get 6 months of over 85* and they make daily driving smoke control much easier when loaded down.

My mods are in my sig. I run the Super B and with my 125 sticks I can see 1650 for EGT's. This is only on short bursts and WOT pulls. On the freeway the temps stay ay about 750-800 which is fairly close to the stock HY35. The exhaust wheel is much larger over stock and this things spools fast, but the intake size is not much different. I too am waiting for twins, but first comes the head studs and gasket. This will all be after I get my new Glacier Diesel fuel boss mechanical pump. Seems like the list never ends

HA!!! No kidding. Round and round it goes.
Thats exactly what im doin. My buddy won the bid on his new 200's so if all goes well I should have the Mach 4's in in about 2 weeks.

After that itll just be play time with the juice to find a good DD, tow, and Race combo.
Until head studs, oversized gasket, and compounds that is. Then itll be time to turn it all up to... killin time.
Still on the list besides that.. Cowl hood, wheels and tires, 3 piece exhaust mani, and Smarty stack maybe.

Anyone wanna donate 15,000 $ to my never ending truck fund?

We're you runnin any other fueling or was it just the Mach 4's and Super B?
Also, what kinda high temps were you seein?
And was it eveywhere or just towing, or racing, long wide open throttle or short WOT bursts?

I would have no prob pegging pyro and i have a 6 spd. if I got on the on ramp of highway id see 1400 its was awful and esp w towing . I loved the injectors. they are crazy power it turns truck into raped ape. If I were you, Id to twin upgrade. I wish i had kept my super B because my htt that I run now crapped out. Now i have to buy it all . If you have any quests pm me. Jope this helps a lil. Just my opinion from past experience and costly ones

Justin did not like the 6's... I missed them, at Crandel Track .... when I was thinking about still racing some.
We swapped back even. He's the one that had both.
Now that I'm commited to not racing this truck anymore, I'll switch, and stay, with 4's..... I think!
