Tint and Visors

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here are some pics of what I did this afternoon. Did it all myself, tint and visors...

This makes the 5th vehicle I have tinted the windows on myself. I'm not perfect, but it is a whole lot better than paying 125-175 to get it done...

I didn't install the tint myself but I had the visor put in. Works great. Keeps the sun out of my eyes. I hate using the sun visors because it blocks my view.

When you do the visor do you go over the little bumpy things above the mirror or scrap them off?

If you go over them you'll get bubbles. The installer for mine put it right up to the edge of them.

You can kind of see mine in my gallery. When I get in from the field I'll snap a few more if you want.

Looks good! It's not hard to do you just gotta be patient and take your time. And when you DIY you don't have to hear a bunch of crying about how "it's illegal to go darker than 30% on front windows and I'll get in trouble" yada yada translation "pay me more and I will". Also, I like to "visor tint" mine at the top and bottom.

And in the state of TN if you don`t have a 1"X1" sticker and the proper paperwork, you can be issued a ticket. Its not bs to get more money from the customer, its called abiding by the law, which is 35% on the front doors, not 30%. The fine for an installer is $1500 the first time your caught.

If you don`t like the laws in TN, write your Congressman. Don`t blame it on the installer.

Where is the best quality tint to be had for someone who is going to do it themselves? I know Wally world has cheap stuff so I wouldn't get it there.

I was looking on ebay the other day and there were precut 3M window tints.
They are machine cut and all you have to do is install it with soap and water.
