Well I think its about time for some new pads and rotors. What do you guys reccomend got the best stopping power and long lasting??

Should I just get some cheap stuff from Autozone or should I get top of the line rotors and pads???

Also the driver side front brake seems to get pretty hot when I drive it. Time for a new caliper???? Thanks for the input..

 

for sure, go with oem quality but inspect your calipers closely to be sure they are not binding causing extra wear, 134000 miles on original indicates the quality of oem. i am running oem quality on mine at 175000 (1st brake job was done at over 130000 miles, but i don't remember exactly,no rotors or drums.)

 

how do you get the pads out?
do you have to loosen the start nut on the back of the piston
i dont see how else to remove the pads
