Those Duramax's aint so Tuff
Yesterday at the pulls, I had to pull against two very stout Duramax's. When I saw them all I could think was OH **** I'm gonna get my you know what handed to me. Thre was also a powerstroke there that made 900ft lbs at the rear wheels. But when the dust settled 5ft seperated 1st place and 4th place which I got. All of us had the sled moving 17mph, so i was pretty happy with my little cummins. she pulled like a champ. Sadley the 1st puller in 8500 SS diesel broke the sled so i didnt get a shot at the 6.0 thats been beating me all year.
The weight bracket and traction bars held up great, considering that was the roughest track I've pulled on in a while. I'll post the vids in the morning.

there is 1 or 2 that run real good here but all the rest run nitrous several have been banned from puling because of it it hasent been proven that the other 2 are cheating yet but it sure seems suspisous
Don't they have to have there truck teched to make sure they're legal for the class there in, we do with the sled I pull with. It's not so much about cheating as it is also a safety issue. Everyone knows you cant hide everything.
It's always the sore losers that claim the other guys running nos!!
I have yet to catch wind of any Duramax' running nos and getting banned.. But if you say so..... I know you are most likely talking about the Crank It Up Diesel trucks, and I know all the guys, and not one of them run nos.......
Luke, I like the title of this tread! To bad they were just a little to tuff, even though they weren't very tuff.
